The Sudety Mountain region forms an attractive tourist destination in Poland. When you think of a holiday in the mountains, you generally expect great scenic beauty coupled with horse riding or hiking but this holiday has much more to offer.
Here you are offered a riding holiday in the midst of nature. Absolutely breathtaking countryside in forest and beautiful mountains. You will ride on centuries old tracks where you will still be able to meet wild animals including deer and wild boar and where the surrounding forest provides a home to many birds.
This is an opportunity to totally relax on horseback and enjoy the ride. Your surefooted horse will enable you to forget about the outside world for these few days of peace.

The farm is located in a beautiful, Piedmont town of Dziwiszów near Jelenia Góra. The farm originally built in 1848 has been sympathetically renovated and now has fourteen individually decorated rooms with ensuite facilities and access to the internet The centre consist of the two renovated buildings - housing and maintenance with stables and a banquet hall which is used for serving delicious Polish meals and which is used to host social events.
The rooms are individually decorated and some are detailed here. The "Fireplace Apartment" with fireplace and an unique charm. Decorated in a hunting style. (Max for three people with a possibility of adapting an extra place)
The "Larch Room" It is one of the nicest rooms. Designed for two or three persons, with a double and single bed, an armchair, a desk with a chair, a TV, bathroom with toilet and shower plus Internet cable connection.The "Oak Room" This is the cosiest room in our household, prepared especially for couples who prefer intimacy. There is a large, double bed, a desk with a chair, a TV, bathroom with a bathtub plus Internet cable connection.
The food is healthy and delicious with local produce mostly organic bought from local farmers. The meals served are delicious Polish specialities. Picnics are taken on long rides.
This is an area which will suit nature lovers and those interested in history. Photographers and walkers will be able to take advantage of their beautiful surroundings.
For a cultural experience you are recommended visits to numerous castles and palaces in the region, built over the centuries. The most beautiful and famous are Chojnik in Sobieszów, Bolków, Czocha.
Nature lovers will be enchanted by scenic landscapes of the nearby Izerskie Mountains, Rudawy Janowickie and Karkonosze [Riesengebirge]. Good infrastructure, numerous tourist routes and roads allows for easy travel on foot, bicycle as well as on horseback or by car.
Some popular Polish resorts are localised within several kilometres, among others Karpacz, Szklarska Porba, Cieplice and the region capital town - Jelenia Góra. Enthusiasts of skiing will find here in winter well prepared slopes with snow aggregates. In the town of Dziwiszów there is one of the most popular skiing centres - Góra.

During the week you will enjoy twenty hours riding on well schooled sure footed horses through the unspoilt forest and mountains of Poland. You will set out each day on long rides accompanied by a picnic to explore the mountains and forests of this beautiful area. If you prefer you may take a lesson in the paddock until you feel comfortable enough to ride out. |
